Most high-achievers I work with look like they have it all together.

Their careers are moving forward, their families are intact, and from the outside, everything is fine. But inside — something is quietly misaligned. Depleted. Quietly breaking down. I know that gap well, because I lived inside it for years.

I’m Dan Humenuck — a leadership and resilience coach serving professionals, executives, and neurodivergent leaders who are ready to stop surviving on fumes and start building lives that actually fit who they are. My path here wasn’t a straight line. I graduated from West Point with a degree in Military History, served as a U.S. Army Cavalry leading teams across the United States, Korea, and Jordan, and then transitioned into the defense industry, where I’ve spent more than a decade managing complex technical programs as a Project Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton. Along the way I earned a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, my PMP and PMI-ACP project management credentials, and — more recently — my Certified Executive Coach (CEC) designation and ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential, with nearly 200 hours of professional coaching experience across clients ranging from early-career professionals to C-suite executives.

That diagnosis wasn't a label — it was a map.

But credentials don’t tell the whole story.

At 36, after years of chronic anxiety, burnout, and the quiet exhaustion of performing at a high level while feeling perpetually stretched, I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1), ADHD (combined type), and present strongly for OCD.

That diagnosis wasn’t a label — it was a map.

It reframed everything I thought I understood about discipline, resilience, and performance. The issue was never a lack of grit. It was that I had spent years trying to run a system that wasn’t built for the way my brain works.

Understanding my own wiring transformed not just how I lead and work, but how I coach.

That lived experience — combined with my professional background and coaching training — is the foundation of the RESTORE Methodology, my proprietary framework for whole-life transformation.

RESTORE is built on seven principles: Rest & Recovery, Eliminate, Simplify, Train Capacity, Optimize Alignment, Reinforce Boundaries, and Elevate Impact — anchored in five foundational life domains: Faith, Fitness, Family, Friends, and Finances.

It’s not a theory.

It’s a field-tested framework built from my own journey and refined through real coaching relationships with real leaders who were tired of pushing harder and getting less back. The premise is simple: you are not broken. You are not weak. But the systems you’re running may not be built for who you actually are — and that’s fixable.

I work especially well with high-capacity professionals who are succeeding by every external measure but feel quietly depleted underneath — and with neurodivergent leaders who are tired of masking, compensating, and working twice as hard to get half the credit.

My coaching is direct, structured, and grounded in lived experience. I don’t sell toxic positivity or five-step overnight transformations. I help people build systems that actually fit their lives, protect what matters most, and lead from a place of overflow rather than depletion.

I live in Pennsylvania with my two dogs, Dusty and Raymond. When I’m not coaching or working, you’ll find me off-roading in my Jeep, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a purple belt under Professor Nathan Scott, or working on a new BBQ recipe. The same values that shape those pursuits — consistency, curiosity, and steady progress over perfection — are the ones I bring to every coaching relationship.
